My mom went to a well known fortune teller when she was in Taiwan last month. I would think she was going to ask questions about herself but actually, she asked for a "reading" for me. I was surprised she did this and when I asked her why she did it for me and not Eric (my brother), she said I am more urgent. Well, we all know what this is about. As of Monday, I am 37 and still no babies. She is so desperate she went to a fortune teller for advice. Oh god! well, even though I think it was probably a waste of money, it is hard not to listen. Supposedly all my mom said was my name and my birthdate. She was told that I would be a late mother, that I should get pregnant before the next Autumn moon festival and not to have kids in 2001 lunar year because they will have health problems. She said I would get pregnant but that I would need medical help. So she said all these weird things that are true and that she technically couldn't have known. but really, do I believe it? Hard to say. She also told her that I am a giver and that I give more than I recieve. That I would never want for money but that I would not make my own money. See the creepiness? My mom came back with it all on paper and with a tape of the reading, maybe Ill look back on it someday and go, "Wow! this lady was spot on!" or "What a whack job!"
So, as a giver, :) hee hee... I would love to get back... If you have time to read my blog, who knows if anyone reads it... I would love love love if you left me a comment.
